Create Custom 404 Page Not Found in Blogger

The 404 error message is the message that is shown when the actual page is not found or when the user follows a broken or dead link. Recently blogger has made a big change in the 404 error page. Earlier blogger error page was a plain old design but now the blogger error page uses the same template. Also now blogger allows us to customize the 404 error page.

Creating Custom 404 Page Not Found

Step 1. In Your Blogger Dashboard Click > Settings > Search Preferences:

Step 2. Find the option Custom Page Not Found and click corresponding Edit link.

Step 3. Enter your custom 404 page not found message in corresponding text area.

Step 4. Click Save Changes and you are good to go.

Note: If you want something more than a message, then you will have to fill up this text area with some HTML Codes, also you can make it more stylish using CSS.
